hand built with intention,
passion, and hard work
We are a queer, multiracial pair of hardworking first-generation farmers who are passionate about growing the culinary staples you need as well as a colorful array of the heirlooms we all love. Everything that happens at the farm is born of our minds and hands. From hand built infrastructure to hand harvested herbal preparations, our passion for working with nature runs the gamut of our business.

Connecting Farmers, Neighbors
& Bread Lovers
Freehand Bakery is a cottage bakery based in Milwaukie, Oregon serving whole grain forward sourdough breads and pastry using house milled flour. Bakers Daniel and Abbey fell in love with wood-fired bread in 2019 and have been baking ever since in partnership with small farms and CSA markets. They are driven to build a resilient community by connecting with neighbors and farmers over nourishing whole grain breads.
